Jessica updated us on a regular basis with phone calls, texts and photos. Whenever we came to visit, we were welcomed with open arms, hugs and support, as we had become members of the Path of Life family.
We are fast approaching the two year mark since my father has been in the care of Path of Life. I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the exceptional treatment and love he has received in your home. As you know, Dad has been institutionalized for over 5 years now due to his dementia. In previous situations, Dad was relatively ignored and left to sit in dirty diapers. He was despondent and unhappy which led to increased agitation and combativeness.
His story today is so much different thanks to you, Letty and your care teams..
Path of Life has been an answer to prayer. My mom’s Alzheimer’s had gotten to the stage where she could no longer live alone. I checked into large facilities and found that she could easily be lost in the numbers & confusion. Visiting Path of Life was like walking into a personal friend’s home. It was clean, uncluttered & had a strong sense of home. It was evident that the staff were close to all the patients like family. That was what I wanted for my mom. Even though Alzheimer’s is a progressive & debilitating illness, since my mom has been at Path of Life, I have seen improvement. Playing games, doing arts & crafts, gardening & listening to music are a just a few things they do that have helped her. I believe she receives care & love there as if it were her own family. I thank God every day for Path of Life.
